The Lord loves you so much! The Bible says that He even knows the number of hairs you have on your head. No matter how far you think you are from Him, He wants us to know that He’s always there waiting for us. Many ask, “Why did you leave me, God? Where are you amidst my pain and suffering?”
These all-too familiar questions imply that God has turned His back on us, forgetting and forsaking us. The real question that we should ask ourselves, however, is when and why did we leave God?
God never leaves our side. In fact, He calls to us time and time again. Many times we turn our shoulder thinking, “Not now… I’m not ready.” We decide to take the more difficult route—our own–only to find that the grass was not greener on the other side after all.
The truth of the matter is that rebelliousness will steer us in the wrong direction and cause us to miss out on His blessings. The Lord has plans to prosper us, plans to give us hope and a wonderful future.
God, our creator, is the same creator who spoke the earth into existence. He allows the earth to orbit the sun and the moon to orbit the earth and holds the entire universe in the palm of His hand. His ways are much greater than our own! The plans He has for us are much, much greater than what we can ever conceive or imagine.
He loves you more than you’ll ever know. Entrust all your plans to Him. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and many things will be added to you as well. Trust in His ways and lean not on your own understanding, and you will not be disappointed. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight. He never forsakes those who seek Him.
God has great plans for your life. He desires to see them come into fulfillment. All He asks of us is that we trust and acknowledge Him. Psalm 37:4 makes this promise: “Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
But remain patient. The Lord’s timing is much different than our own. Although He can create miracles in a day, He plans to take us on a journey and teach us things along the way. God’s plans are perfect.
Seek Him, be patient and see amazing things happen!
Let go [of your ways] and let God [show you His]!
The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy.– Psalm 111:7
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. — Proverbs 3:5-6
Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. – Psalm 9:10
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. –Jeremiah 29:11

Lord, you know everything about me. You know my thoughts and my heart. You know both my strengths and weaknesses. And still, amidst all my shortcomings, you see me for who you created me to be, and you love me. Help me to see myself through your eyes. Allow me to let go of all judgment I carry over my life. Only you are perfect.
Take me into your arms and show me your ways. Mold me into your likeness. Align my ways to yours. Give me the desire to relinquish all control over my life, giving everything to you so that you can do great things through me. Use me to make an impact, and give me the patience to wait for your promises. I am not whole without you.
